Marking the 10th year of Kathara Society as a registered Non-Profit we conclude 2023 with our Annual General Meeting. We warmly invite the presence of our past and present Membership and supporters as well as sincere interest.

We continue the practice of getting feedback and input from our stakeholders and community. This is a chance for the Society’s Board members to share our most current analysis and action steps being prepared for the year ahead based on current resources. In this way we also are formulating the means for participation based on where mutual interest is to be found or opportunities can be created.

This is also a ceremony of reflection on the past year and a chance to learn what took place. We will be honouring the current performers of the collective, the current board members and looking to what this will look like in 2024.

Merienda (snacks) and drink will be provided. (Please bring an unbreakable plate and cup along with utensils if possible to reduce waste)

Please join us as we close out the year and begin pointing our spiritual bangka (canoe) towards the future with solidarity, harmony, determination, courage and bravery. Grab a paddle! Padayon! ( (to continue, to move forward))

Please register/volunteer via katharainfo@gmail.com by December 4th so we can be prepared for numbers and accessibility needs. An option to make a membership payment is available via PayPal to same email as registration in advance or bring $20 CAD or any sized donation beyond that. All decisions made for this AGM will be made by current membership. Registrants will be given the address for the in person event.

Provisions can be made on an individual basis for online participation via Zoom if you cannot attend in person.

Please stay home if feeling even slightly ill. Masks are strongly encouraged but not mandatory unless required at the time of the event.
